Unusual and rare ATE dial. Part number L39509. Black plastic finger plate which incorporates the numbers in cupped recesses. Fascinating mechanism with partial sun and planet gearing .

User instruction booklet in colour for BT answer recording machine type 101A. Dated I would guess in the late 70's.
Poorly stored and dirty. But great if you have a 101A.
Dial cord No 6/13E, 8" long unused in its original wrappings. Proper whipped ends, not spade connections. Although not intended for the candlestick telephone, it would make an ideal replacement. 12
Cord No 510742. This is a cloth covered 4 core flexible cord coloured "Grebe". Grebe is an attractive greyish brown. It has spade terminals at one end, and push-on connectors at the other. The overall length is about 54 inches or 1370mm. Would make an ideal handset cord.
New old stock in its original wrappings
Bright red drop cord type 386. Red cloth covered 3 core cord. Could be adapted as a fine red handset cord. Approximately 5 feet or 1600mm long. Mint unused. Few Only 10

Incredible find. Mint Unused!!!
Line cord suitable for early magneto telephones such as the Ericsson skeleton.
This is an original cord from the early 1900's. It was probably made by Ericsson or their supplier.
It is about 3 metres or 10 feet long, braided with green cloth with red cotton binding at each end. There are seven colour coded cores, all correctly whipped with copper wire.
Make no mistake, this is original and mint. Museum quality.
Another Incredible find.
 Mint Unused!!!
Handset cord suitable for early magneto telephones such as the Ericsson skeleton, wooden wall and corporation types.
This is an original cord from the early 1900's. It was probably made by Ericsson or their supplier.
It is about 1.5 metres or 5 feet long, braided with green cloth with green cotton binding at each end. There are four cores, all correctly whipped with copper wire. The four colour coded cores are the correct length and have the correct extensions for most early Ericsson type handsets with a press to talk switch. Note it has 4 cores, not 5 cores
Make no mistake, this is original and mint. Museum quality.
3T receiver. Special type with inductive loop coil for compatibility with hearing aids. Item code 877095. Unused in original wrappings. Replaces the 4T in a 700 (and others) handset. Rare 15

If you wish to place an order, or have an enquiry, please read all below.

Please call me (Gavin Payne) by telephone if you wish to place an order for a telephone, spare parts, or have an enquiry.  I can usually be reached 9.00am to 5.45pm any day, including weekends. Calls in the evening are not appreciated and could make me very grumpy. The number is 01245 400601.

I am in the shop most Saturday and Sunday mornings between 10.00 and 12.00. These are the only times I am in the shop for the sale of spare parts, conversions and repairs.  Conversions and repairs can often be carried out while you wait.

If you have a telephone that you want to know more about, or have it repaired or converted, please have it right next to you when you call. Please also have a selection of small flat bladed screwdrivers to hand.
I do not give advice for DIY repairs or conversions or valuations of any kind over the telephone or by email. Please bring the telephone to my shop for assessment, but always call me first before bringing it in.
